To start shipping, you will need the Fastvan app, it is free and available for iOS and Android.

Use the app to:

  • Sign up as a business or individual user.
  • Select the type of service (Courier/Freight/Delivery)
  • Enter your shipment's destination address.
  • Take a photo of the items you want to send and add the parcel details.
  • Request an immediate pick up or in advance for later day; accept an instant quote, print the waybill and you're done. A Fastvan courier will arrive within the estimated time or your scheduled time to take care of the rest.
  • You can track your parcel in real time from pick up to delivery, receive notifications all the way, in-app call feature to speak to driver/courier. Payment methods (Debit, Credit, E-wallet credit facility (subject to approval) Automatic billing and invoicing.

Fastvan can be used in a variety of ways by Individuals and businesses, examples are:

  • Small, Medium and large parcels
  • Documents
  • Sending gifts
  • Returning purchases
  • Shipping goods that have been sold online or at the store
  • Furniture or office relocation
  • Moving household goods
  • National shipments
  • International shipments
  • Warehouse/Palletised
  • Loose cargo

Fastvan is available Nationwide.

Some services are available seven days a week between 8:30 am and 6 pm Others between Mon-Fri 8:30am - 6pm

Users can sign up/sign in to their account and instantly create a shipment, get a quote, track their parcel in real time, receive notifications of pickup and delivery and rate the driver.

Desktop version will be available in April 2017.

Fastvan will not send the following items either because they are prohibited by law or do not meet the Terms of Service:

  • Cash and currency, live animals, firearms, tobacco products and illegal drugs.
  • The bodies of deceased animals. (Animal heads and other parts for taxidermy may be accepted but must be properly packaged. This restriction does not apply to properly packaged meat or poultry products intended for human consumption)
  • Live insects
  • Hazardous waste, including, but is not limited to, used hypodermic needles or syringes transported for sterilization, recycling, disposal or for any other purpose, or other medical waste.
  • Dangerous goods, hazardous goods or combustible materials, including, but not limited to asbestos, compressed gases (aerosol, certain perfumes), dry ice, flammable materials, poisons, lithium batteries, irritants or controlled substances
  • Packages that are wet, leaking or emit an odour of any kind
  • Waste or garbage for disposal
  • Shipments that require us to obtain a local, state or federal license for their transportation
  • Shipments that may cause damage or delay to equipment, personnel or other shipments
  • Shipments or commodities that are prohibited by applicable local, state or federal law
  • Any other items prohibited by law as detailed by our courier partners

We partner with leading courier companies and a host of others to transport and deliver shipments to their recipients. Customers can select the service delivery type (Sameday, nextday, overnight, economy), which is always the least expensive option available based on your shipment's size, weight, and distance to destination.

We offer Express services for domestic as well as international courier services. For international shipments, customs clearance may extend delivery estimates. POD (Proof Of Delivery) is sent automatically once the receiver signs on drivers mobile app.

Undeliverable packages will be returned to the warehouse, and we'll reach out to the sender to coordinate next steps. Please review our terms of service for more information.

YES, it may not have full scan activity but it does have a notification of delivery.

International shipments are subject to inspection by Customs in the destination country.

In the app, you'll be asked for information to complete a Customs Declaration Form - we'll prepare the documentation for you. All international shipments sent with Fastvan require the recipient to pay duties, taxes, and other possible local handling charges upon delivery, and may not be released by customs until paid in full.
